Iran-USA | Tehran says up to US to move first on saving nuclear deal: Prof Seyed Marandi




Iran’s ambassador in Geneva told the U.N.-sponsored Conference on Disarmament on Wednesday that it is up to the United States to make the first move in saving the Iran nuclear deal. Ambassador Esmaeil Baghaei Hamanehs said the onus is on the offending party to restart and compensate for the damages as well as to reassure that they would not renege again.
While it remains unclear which side will be the first to ease its stance on the matter, we had asked Professor Seyed Marandi, dean of the Faculty of World Studies at the University of Tehran, Iran, to join us and share some insights.
