Heart Attack

Chest pain, neck or upper back pain, nausea, heartburn, indigestion, extreme fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath

Heart Failure:

Fatigue, shortness of breath, or swelling in feet, legs, ankles, abdomen, or neck vein

Arrhythmia:

Lightheadedness, slow pulse, dizziness, fainting spells, racing heartbeat, and chest pain

What are the Risk Factors?

High blood cholesterol, smoking, and high blood pressure are the main risk factors for heart disease. An unhealthy lifestyle and some medical conditions can cause heart disease.

Such as:

  • Obesity or overweight
  • Diabetes
  • Physical inactivity
  • Unhealthy diet
  • Excessive alcohol use
  • Excessive oil in food

How to diagnose heart disease?

Sometimes heart disease symptoms are silent but your doctor can diagnose by ordering many types of tests. And sometimes doctors diagnose heart disease by physical exams and blood tests.

Treatments for Heart disease

Heart disease treatment is based on the type of heart disease. For example, if you have a heart infection then the doctor will prescribe you antibiotics.

Heart disease treatment falls into three categories.

Healthy Lifestyle

Lifestyle changes can help you prevent heart disease. It will help you prevent yourself from getting worse. If you take low fat, low sodium, and full of vegetables and fruit diet may help you lower the possibility of heart disease.

Medications

Medications are necessary to treat your heart disease. The medication depends on the type of heart disease you have. It can reduce the chance of further heart disease complications.

Invasive Procedures

In many cases, surgery is necessary to treat some heart conditions. For example: If your arteries are blocked your doctor will do surgery to return the blood flow.

Heart disease is chronic which cannot reverse or cure. You need to follow the lifetime cure treatments. Some heart disease symptoms can reveal with medications but not all.

It is important to take care of your overall health before any diagnosis made.
