How effective is the Pfizer vaccine? Data from Israel raises questions about UK strategy

Early data from Israel – where 20% of its population has been received the Pfizer jab – suggests it could lead to a 33% decline in infections among the over-60s, just two weeks after the group were vaccinated.

While COVID-19 vaccines have been shown to reduce the risk of serious disease, this new data suggests the UK may have to rethink it’s decision to delay the second jab.
