Groundhog Day 2021: Punxsutawney Phil predicts 6 more weeks of winter




Under a sky of snowfall, the annual Groundhog Day tradition in Punxsutawney, Pa. took place – and winter is here to stay – for six more weeks anyway. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Tuesday morning, predicting more winter weather. The famous Pennsylvania groundhog hosted a virtual viewing of his shadow this year, with cardboard cutouts as cheering fans, as a safety measure during the coronavirus pandemic.
