DaBaby Accused Of Allegedly Knocking Rental Property Owner’s Tooth Out In Confrontation Over Unauthorized Music Video

A new lawsuit has been brought against DaBaby by the owner of a California rental property he was renting.

The alleged incident went down last December at the vacation rental home lodged in the Hollywood Hills near the popular Runyon Canyon.  In the lawsuit, the owner of the home is alleging that DaBaby assaulted him and stole his phone when he tried to shut down an unauthorized music video shoot, Variety reports.

The owner, Gary Pagar, states in the suit that DaBaby rented the property on condition that no more than 12 people would be on site, acknowledging COVID-19 restrictions. However, Pagar alleges that DaBaby had about 40 people in the home to shoot a music video, which would be in violation of the terms of the lease.

When Pagar pulled up on Baby to try to shut the video shoot down, he alleges that he was knocked to the ground by an unknown assailant. Pagar alleges that DaBaby then got out of a car and chased him into the house where he was warned not to call the police before DaBaby allegedly sucker-punched him in the mouth, knocking out a tooth and leaving him bloody.

Pagar, who is 64, also states that in addition to being assaulted, he was allegedly spat upon. He alleges that the assailants also taunted him by tossing his phone back and forth.

“Mr. Kirk appears to think he’s a real tough guy,” the lawsuit states. “Mr. Kirk is wrong.”

Following the alleged violent incident, someone else called the police, prompting DaBaby and his guests to flee the scene, according to the lawsuit, taking Pagar’s phone and “valuable kitchenware” as they left.

The suit also alleges that DaBaby and his guests left behind thousands of dollars in damage. DaBaby reportedly only paid a portion of their rental bill. Pagar also sued DaBaby’s manager.

The suit alleges that DaBaby and his squad destroyed a security camera in order to hide the fact that they had brought more than 12 people to the house.

Pagar also alleges in the suit that when he first pulled up to the house, he spotted DaBaby sitting in a car with Jake Paul, who happened to be part of the music video.

DaBaby has not publicly addressed the suit and it’s unclear whether any criminal charges were filed in connection to the incident. We’ll keep you posted.
