Nothing beats a feeling of a good night’s sleep and a feeling of opening a good organic beauty box! At least, these were my thoughts when I sat on my sofa with this Clean Beauty Box in my hands for the first time. I currently have an obsession with beauty boxes, but like in everything, there are nice ones, and then there are the ones I would not choose the second time around. The Clean Beauty Box is one of those lovely boxes that I was very impressed with from the minute I opened it. In a nutshell, Clean Beauty Box is a bi-monthly organic beauty subscription service. Each box has some kind of a theme; usually, it highlights a particular brand. The box I got was the February / March box with the name of the Rejuvenate Box. It features Indie Lee, which is one of the biggest fish (in terms of good reviews and people who love this brand) in the sea of organic skincare brands. There are two products in the box, one full size and one a generous sample: Indie Lee Stem Cell Serum and Lotion COQ-10 Toner.
Indie Lee Lotion COQ-10 Toner comes in a generous sample size (30ml, retails for $10). It’s one of the Indie Lee products that I’ve recently tried after trying out the Discovery Kit. I did not have a good first impression, in all honesty, but this toner gets so much praise that I’m willing to try it again. First of all, it’s alcohol-free, which is very important if you want to keep your skin in a balanced, hydrated state. Moreover, it contains CoEnzyme Q10 and hyaluronic acid, both of them powerful anti-aging ingredients. I’ll let you know if my opinion has changed after I fully use this up.
Indie Lee Stem Cell Serum (30ml, full-size, retails for $135) is the star of this Rejuvenate Box. Its value is way over the price I paid for the box, and I was over the moon when I saw that I get to try THIS. It is a pretty lightweight serum that feels silky and even hydrating. This is rare with serums that you wouldn’t need a moisturizer after, and with this, you can just relax and just wear it on its own. Stem Cell Serum is on a mission to give your skin firmness and rejuvenation by promoting the appearance of increased collagen. I like it already, but I can’t wait to try it for a longer time, so I could see if it truly keeps to the promises it has made.
Clean Beauty Box is available here for $41.95 per box (depending on subscription type).
