TSR Fresh Out: Ah ah ah! It has been a long six years for Bobby Shmurda fans, but it’s official…he’s no longer behind bars! The Brooklyn rapper was released from prison Tuesday morning and was welcomed home by some of his loved ones on a jet.
Quavo, who worked with Bobby on a mixtape prior to his arrest, accompanied some of Bobby’s peoples to pick him up from prison and made sure he came home to plenty of love. The first thing Bobby did, however, was pick up the phone and call his mother on FaceTime.
Video footage of the call shows Bobby in good spirits, with a huge smile on his face. One of his associates even went live from the jet, showing Bobby putting on all of his ice.
The crew also paid homage to the late Pop Smoke by playing some of his music on the flight.
Rowdy Rebel penned a message to Bobby earlier this month, letting us know he would be home soon.
“I thank God I got a friend like you I could call a brother. I love you like you my mamas kids…see you soon kid,” Rowdy wrote.
As we previously reported, Bobby’s mother revealed to TMZ that he will be having an intimate dinner with his loved ones before returning to the studio to get back into his music.
Bobby’s was released 10 months early and will remain on parole until 2026.
Y’all think Bobby and Rowdy are going up with the music this summer, Roomies?!
