African American Vernacular English (AAVE): Three Ways It Brings Us Together!


As Black History Month comes to a close, one thing is certain and it’s that our culture is one that should be celebrated daily.

From trailblazers to trendsetters, without us the world would be bland.

Much of what you see and hear, AAVE somehow plays a role. It’s purely a lifestyle, something we Black people inherently learn. Be it music or just a good “Girl, yasss!” Our language is the fabric of the culture.
